Animation and Character Performance
I'm not here to teach, I'm here to learn. This blog has been created to keep a record of my sound and moving image learning process, what i get out of what I am currently being taught and how it applies to my interests.

This is the face i decided to use, easier to convey emotions though expression. Still doesn't quite have eyebrows but instead a protrusion in the skull above the eyes, this acts as a brow and give the feeling of depth in the eyes. I also added pupils and took away the hair and added a hat and played around with others.
The original face i was going to use for this task, until i tried to convey expressions with him. The more human set shape to the face and jaw means it is limited to normal expression, otherwise will look a bit off. i decided to go with something alot more broken up and non-characteristically human.
Earlier, creepier drawings.
Change in Emotion
Some objects, although non-projective and identity-less, can be almost as important, if not; more important then the characters themselves.

To give and idea of the cleanup stage i go through, alot of cleanup i do while actually animating, thats the beauty of digital. I mainly rough out shapes for my keys before cleaning them and then for inbetweens (usually 3-5 per key) i try to have clean drawings. By clean i mean continuous lines, that way i can ensure that the line is not broken and will be easier to colour.
